It was supposed to last a week
Pretending that a lie is true
The prospects growing bleak
This is not America
It wears a thin façade
This is not America
The man thinks he’s a god
The killing of the daily news
The tampering with elections
Denial of the right to choose
Obfuscation and deflection
This is not America
More like a third-world nation
This is not America
